A stunning Hall table made with a single Lathe leg from a vintage Barnes treadle Lathe .left with it’s original finish and patina … topped with a reclaimed oak frame encasing three individual pieces of dark oak taken from an old oak writing bureau ,each of which is surrounded by a line of black french oak reclaimed from a french library floor. Three solid oak drawers hang to the right and one to the left. The drawer fronts in contrasting dark oak from the bureau and the french black oak with handles from recycled carpenters brace drills .. again the handles contrasting the woods A chunky heavy piece wall fixed approx 900mm high, 1200mmwide and 350mm deep.
A delicate black lathe leg with oak top striped with French black oak, with two under draws and French black oak handles. The lathe leg originates from a ladies’ metal workshop circa 1940 in Stockport. Ideal as a feature in a hallway, kitchen, office or study. The top is 300mm deep and 1150mm long.
